In 1988 Rich Roman, founder and CEO of Revman International, conceived of a new vendor model: a marketing-driven company built around brands with a lifestyle point of view.

Former President of both Burlington Industries and JP Stevens Home Fashion divisions, Richard Roman is the founder of Revman International Inc. which he started in 1988 and remains its current President and CEO. Roman was also a former President of the Home Fashion Products Association and a long-time board member. In 1999 he was voted one of the 20 most influential people in home textiles of the last 20 years.
